Fair. 8vo, pp. 63, light blue wrappers, this faded on front and spine, some indentations to front, a split to top of spine on front, rubbed, owner's name to top of front cover, interior suffers from damp damage to the top of the pages throughout which includes missing top quarter of an inch in places, generally not affecting text which is otherwise clean, binding is sound. The second impression was published in the same month as the first (November 1913).

This was published in the same year as its first edition in London and illustrates Dickens' complaint about the lack of international copyright laws. Tauchnitz had not come to any agreement with Dickens about reissuing his books by the time this was published.
