A better than usually found copy, with the fragile jacket almost complete, barring tiny amounts of loss to the spine ends. A clean jacket with very little marks. There is a strip of browning to the front and back free end paper. An excellent example this one being signed by the author and illustrator B.B. to the title page without dedication.   Written under a pseudonym, Denys Watkins-Pitchford provides the prose about his experiences in fishing, along with providing lovely black and white illustrations throughout this book. Grayson & Grayson. First edition part of the Grayson Books - a series of limited editions. This being 26 of 285, signed by the author. Published by Grayson & Grayson in 1935. This is a very good or better copy. The dust wrapper is not clipped and is complete. The spine is toned and there is mild wear to the extremities. The boards are a tad bowed which seems to be a common flaw with this book. There is a small booksellers label to the inside board. There is very occasional and light foxing marks to a couple of pages. A rare signed book by Graham Greene, and was number 11 out of 12 in the series edited by John Hackney that also included authors H.E Bates and James Hanley.   . Very Good. Faber & Faber. First edition published by Faber and Faber in 1999. This is a near fine copy. The jacket is in excellent condition with very little if any wear. It has not been price clipped and there is no fading. The blue cloth boards have no marks. The front two corners are gently pushed. The pages have started to yellow as is common with this title. Overall a near fine copy and rare to find signed by the Nobel Laureate poet, to the title page without dedication.  A key Seamus Heaney title. His translation of the great anglo-saxon epic poem.
