Only faults are some wear at to and bottom of cover spine, light soiling on spine and very mild age toning. No tears, marks, foxing, creases, or inscriptions. Tight binding. First Edition. Book is in "as new" condition. Unclipped Dj has some shelf wear along top edge. Book contains Baskin's own discussion of his work and art in the 21 page introduction. There follows 136 plates - some in color and some full page- of works selected by Baskin. From the dj: "The present volume contains the artist's own selection of some one hundred and thirty of his finest works : reproductions of sculpture, drawings, and prints. In the informative text he talks about his life and work, about what it means to be an artist… the source of his inspiration for particular works, and what his drawings and sculpture mean to him." Dj design also by Baskin.

Both volumes arie in virtually new condition, no faults. Both Djs have some very slight scratches and spotting on back sides of Dj.

First UK edition, first printing. book is in 'As New' condition. The unclipped dj (1.75 BPS) in a mylar dover, has some light wear at the bottom of the dj spine and light wrinkling at the top of the spine.

Rare first edition (fourth impression) of this historically important book about World War I. Overall, the book is in Very Good condtion, except for the covers; they have moderate shelf wear at the edges but have heavy wear and soiling on the front and back covers . There is an inscription on the first flyleaf page. Pages show a few small blemishes, light age toning near the edges. No dj. 186 pages + adverts.

This is the 1846 reprint of the book oriiginally published in 1832. It contains two titles: "The Backwoods of Canada..." by Cathrine Parr Strickland Traill (243 pages), and "The Oregon Territory..." by Rev. C. G. Nicolay (226 pages). It has been rebound in leather and is in excellent condition. The cover is 'like new' except for a bump at the front top edge. The pages are predominantly without marks, tears or folds. Some light to moderate foxing on relatively few pages. The exception is the "Backwoods..." title page which is loose, stained, has a small tear, and a library name impressed on the page. There are 12 high quality engravings throughout "Backwood..". We found two [one a map] in "The Oregon Terratory.." that are also in excellent condition.
