Pretty much literally the only photographic source documenting the modern history of the Varna "First in the world professional ballet contest" starting in 1964. A single institutional holding (Public Library of Varna), scarce to the trade. Presentation copy signed by the author in month of publication. In Bulgarian, English, and French.

Recounts the terrific debate centering around the meaning of what is arguably the most famous fossil in history, with three different, fiercely fought positions w/r/t the very orgin of animal flight. Filled with tales of great opportunities lost (Yale tried to low-ball the owner of the fossil in 1877 and University of Berlin ended up with it), accusations of forgery, outlier positions of alien space orgins and lots of hard science in between.
