We ship in cardboard always, carefully protected. Very Good in Good jacket; wear at corners; book straight, solid and unmarked. Jacket in new archival protector.

Very Good: Unmarked, near fine: a little tan background specking in the light blue portion of the cover illustration, else very clean.

Scarce: Amazon had never had it. Very Good plus: store stamp inside front cover else like new, clean, straight, unmarked and unwrinkled. We ship all our books in cardboard protection.

No title page; guess 1873; appears to be 1870's, based on song titles and mention of music availability of some in De Witt's Half-Dime Series.. Hardcover in maroon cloth, faded gilt titles on front; 4.5 inches tall;256 pp. This publisher + title is not mentioned in Norm Cohen's long essay/ analysis of the Forget-Me-Not songsters, which began about 1840 and went through many small variations. This one begins with the Table of Contents, headed by CONTENTS / of / De Witt's / "Forget-me-not" Songster / 250 Sentimental Songs. Possibly rebound long ago. International ships by First Class Air. Very Good minus: light rubbing at spine tips ; solid; binding glue discoloration around edge of endpapers; scattered foxing in text.

Llangollen, N Wales: Gwynn Publishing Co., 1942.. Paperwraps, 7.2x10.5", 24 pp, tan cardstock. A short Cantata (30 minutes) based on the life of Saint David of Wales. Fully transcribed in 4 part vocal and piano lines with lyrics in both Welsh and English; the English looks excellent. . Very Good: unmarked, clean; one 4" crease at lower front corner of front cover.

Hollywood: Cross Music, 1943, presumed first edition.. Folio paperwraps, 48 (2) pp. Foran broke into Hollywood as a Singing Cowboy, before a long career in diverse roles. This collection of 20 songs authored largely by screen composer Fleming Allan is all Western: Night-Herder's Song; Rose of Laredo; Poor Old Bill; The Road to Santa Fe, etc. Very Good: solid, clean and unmarked, with light rubbing along spine ad a bump at spine bottom, with a small surface pull-tear there where tape was removed.

Baltimore, 2000. . Paperback, 8.2x10.7" tall, 114 pp. Most of book is 3-column text, so an enormous amount of print. Something for the Guthrie collector? Quite an uncommon Woody Guthrie item, with a long article on 3 generations of the Guthrie family. , Very Good: clean, straight, unmarked.

Chicago: M M Cole Publishing Co., 1936.. Folio paperwraps, 9x12" tall, 64 pp. This trio came from a remote corner of Harlan County, Kentucky. 53 songs here... . Condition; Very Good: solid, straight and unmarked. Ships well protected in cardboard.

Author, 1939.. Paperwraps in colorful orange cardstock, 23 cm., 20 p. Lyrics to 14 songs, several copyright to mmembers of the Border Riders, and 39 b&w photos. . Condition Good: Looks very good on the outside, and feels firm, but the inner two sheets (i.e. four pages) have pulled free of the staples; I could restaple on request, but am leaving as is until then. Those two sheets ride well at the center of the booklet, which is clean straight and unmarked.

Almost As New: one staple slighty rusty, but never used; clean, straight unmarked, preserved in a tight stack with others of the series for years.

Paperwraps 9" x 12" folio, 32 pp. Signed on the rear "Autographs" page by Doye O'Dell, and by Sleepy Hunter, who was also in the Hi Boys Band, and Eddie Lee. 15 songs as sung by O'Dell and the Down Homers: Goin' Back to Texas; In the Cumberland Mountains; Moonlight and Skies; Mother the Queen of my Heart; Worried Mind; etc. Very Good: solid and unmarked except autographs, light external soil.

Paperwraps spine-stapled, 9x12 inches, 32 pp. 19 songs with music, including a couple of interesting war titles (e.g. We Didn't Invite Them Over- But We're Gonna Repay the Call); and Half-Pint Puncher in an Ten Gallon Hat; Sugar Loaf Waltz, When This Cruel War is Over, etc. Duke and his band played many dances all over New England, had a radio show and later a TV show. Good only; there is a 4-inch tear along top of spine, closed with archival mending tape (near invisible, non-acidic); rear cover shows water-stain on top third, smaller water stains on all pages from the back forward (back page is the worst).
