Pictorial dust jacket in fine condition, with a pristine cover, original price of $15.95 on the flap, and no fading on the spine. Brown paper over boards with black cloth 1/4 bound, copper gilt lettering stamped crisply on spine, signed by the author on the title page, full number line, no visible marks, in fine condition. Sue Grafton (1940 - 2017) was an American novelist. This is the sixth book in her well-known "alphabet series" featuring private investigator Kinsey Millhone. Grafton also wrote screenplays and other 7 other novels before the alphabet series, 5 of which she destroyed unpublished.

Approximately 4 x 6 1/4"; Straight-grain red morocco, 5 raised bands, gilt borders and spine, all edges gilt, tenth edition (stated), slightly corner bumped, otherwise in near fine condition. Robert Bloomfield (1766 - 1823), was an English self-educated poet. He was born into a poor family and died in debt, although he had some success with The Farmer's Boy, his best known work. Written in iambic pentameter couplets, The Farmer's Boy describes rural life through the seasons, often showing that it is harsh work, although the tone is still cheerful. The double fore-edge paintings are by an unknown artist and show a fox-hunting scene on one side and the scene of an angler in a small boat on the other, nicely but not elaborately done

Marbled paper over boards with brown leather 1/4 bound, gilt title on spine, letterpress printed on a hand-operated printing press on Peter's handmade paper, woodcut illustrations by Donna Thomas, numbered on the colophon, in fine condition. (Bradbury, Peter and Donna Thomas 5).Peter and Donna Thomas, well-known book artists, authors, and paper-makers, have been operating their private press since 1976. This is a lovely little fairy tale book with Donna's beautiful woodcut artwork. This was their first work to get national recognition by the larger book-arts community as it was included in the Breaking the Bindings Show in 1983 at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Illustrated color stiff paper booklets depicting children, which flip up at the wait to show a small booklet, black and white line drawings, two-sided so each booklet depicts two children, a few booklets have minor defects such as a small crease near the neck, a small stain near the face and a few tiny spots, otherwise in near fine condition.Scarce little booklets produced by UNICEF, portraying children of 8 various countries: The Netherlands, Ghana, Algeria, Poland, Norway, India, Chile, and Japan. Barby and Glen Peterson are authors who have written for the Golden Series of children's books. Set is complete. Only one institutional holding

Decorated heavy boards, Edward Gorey House print, tissue, poly strapping, and ribbon, numbered and signed on the colophon, in fine condition. The black bookcloth covered enclosure is candy-box styled with a lift-off lide and a hot pink laval lining, in fine condition.Another beautifully designed and original book by Patrice Miller, constructed from an Edward Gorey House print binding design, text and illustrations and commissioned by The Edward Gorey Charitable Trust. Patrice Miller's work has found its way to private and university collections, in the states and abroad. Human foibles, nature�s panoply, and artistic cleverness cannot help but inform future work. She continues to bind, and rebind, in Dallas, Texas.
