Description:
Printed by the Whitefriars Press, for the Publishers [Southern & Co.]. 1928, January to August. Volume 1, nos. 2-9 incl. LACKING no.1. Folio and L4to.. pp. 20; 20; 24; 24; 28; 28; 28; 28. Numerous illustrations. All stapled within original coloured wrappers, staples rusted, occasional mark on the covers and small tear at the spine edge, but very good copies overall. *With some important contributions - CECIL ALDIN provides many illustrations for the issues 2-7; others are by LAURENCE IRVING and FRANK ADAMS. Stories by FRANK BRIDGES, JOHN MASEFIELD, FRANK BOWEN and others. COPAC records various short runs at the BRITISH LIBRARY and the NLW - it appears to have started in December 1927 and to have run at least until 1930, latterly under the changed title of 'The Young Adventurer and the Friend Ship'.
