Stringy homemade clear plastic reinforced binding bolsters and protects partly crumbling spine with old, darkened staining beneath; hand-penned round yellow sticker here reads "Inscribed." Fraying to all extremities exposes cardboard underlayer. Significant foxing, soiling and childish penciled scribbles across endpapers. Pencil scribbles, too, across from title page; a 2" rough tear from top edge near gutter here. Brown staining to a few pages, most notably to p. 59 and its facing page, where text is a bit affected.
