Binding is starting throughout. Back hinge is cracked.

No interior pages affected. Binding is firm and square. Sunning to jacket spine, else jacket remains crisp and free of any tears or scuffing.

Tanning pages with some pencil markings on several pages. Small page creases from page 163-174. Cracked hinges and tanning pages. Some discolored areas on many pages, appear to be burn marks or something similar. Does not obscure text. Previous owner's name on front endpaper.

Both jacket flaps are completely separated, but still included. Previous price penciled on front inside flap, else clean. Binding is firm and corners are sharp. Some scuffing and softening to spine ends.

Spine is faded from wear with tears and a small portion missing at the top. Moderate wear along all edges of boards and spine, scuffing to front and back boards. Cracked hinges with front endpaper and first page separated from binding. Previous bookshop's sticker/logo on back endpaper. Tanning pages.

Back hinge is starting to crack and binding has a slight lean. Rubbing along board edges and three corners are bumped. Spine ends have softened and bottom end has a small tear. Gilt on spine is still shiny and neat.

International Collectors Library, no date given. Hardcover. Acceptable/None. Assumed printed circa mid 20th century. Pages are unmarked but prelims are foxed and text block edges are lightly foxed. One stain that goes through endpapers until preface. Binding is firm. Reading ribbon is discolored and fraying at the end. Boards have light to moderate wear to corners and spine ends. Gilt decoration and lettering is intact.

Spine has slight lean with fraying at top and bottom edges. Gilt title lettering on front board is clear and unfaded; lettering on spine is slightly faded but clear. Front hinge is cracking but still secure.

Top corners and bottom spine end are lightly frayed. Top spine end has some cracking.
