A selection of Totani's works, featuring 31 illustrations, dating from 1952 to 1986, in colour and monochrome. 1 folding. A swish production; scarce.

Otherwise a clean, firm copy. Scarce: Library Hub records only one institutional copy, at SOAS. Khasi is one of the main spoken languages of Meghalaya state in northeastern India.

Both in the uncommon original brown dust wrappers. Vol I: xvii, 364. Vol II: xv, 379. Spotting to fore edges. Vol I with some spotting, soiling to covers, spine. Vol II a brighter copy, some minor spotting to boards. The second gathering to Vol I a little loose but still attached. Previous owner's name (Thos. F. Buna(?)) to flyleaf of both volumes, with an intriguing note. Otherwise, both volumes well kept, text blocks firm and square. Dust wrappers are bright and sharp.
