Illustrated.  This book is a free sample given to a school for consideration of buying them for their chemistry classes.  Free of any marks except the paste-in on the title page by Macmillan.  The book is unused.  The only defects are a small area on the front that has a slight loss of luster and the page edges show some age toning.   FINE     SCARCE

Spine has age toned, and fraying of spine edges has worn off some cloth - soiling of spine as well.

Black leather embossed spine with gilt lettering. Spine edges breaking and there is a loss of about one square inch of material from the top and base. SEE PHOTOS Inside is unmarked except a fancy pencil signature. Page edges age toned.
