A good, if aging, copy of this vintage French literary journal Pages and binding browning and slight chipping, but everything is still intact and complete, See photos La Revue de Paris was a French literary review founded by Louis-Désiré Véron in 1829 and which appeared until 1970 The Revue de Paris was suspended in 1940 , it reappeared in May 1945 and finally disappeared in 1970 4 p ads, 241-478, 8 p ads pp.

A near find copy in original green cloth with gilt titles on spine and black blindstamped titles on front cover Just slight scuffing and bumping to spine ends Front endpaper is cracked, but binding is still sound Slight foxing on first few pages and last few pages, but text is otherwise quite clean No other marks or damage at all NOT ex-library Quite uncommon in this condition 372 pp.

London: J. Dodsley, 1795. First thus. Fair. Text block is very good, solid with no marks or damage But both leather boards detached Five banded spine intact but chipping Vol 2 (of 2) only 343 pp Fair overall Would be very good but for detached boards.

Tonbridge, UK: DouglasHouse, 2005. First. Fine. An historic volume preserving the stories of 38 RAF crew who saved Britain against the Nazi bombing campaign, who were still alive at the time of publication.  Each of the men is given a full page photo with accompanying narrative. In black boards with yellow titles on the spine and front cover as well as a photo of one of the pilots on the front cover.  No marks or damage at all.  Apparently, it was published without any dust jacket.  It is signed by four of the surviving pilots on a bookplate affixed to the ffep. .

Kendal, UK: Westmoreland Gazette, 1984. First. Fine/Fine. This is the fascinating story of the legendary comic, Stan Laurel, from his childhood through his early years in entertainment, before he teamed up with Oliver Hardy to become half of the most famous comedy team of the first half of the 20th century.  Profusely illustrated with photos and facsimiles of Laurel's letters with family and early friends. This copy is fine in purple boards with gilt titles on the spine and Laurel's facsimile signature in gilt on the front cover.  No marks or damage at all.  The unclipped DJ is also excellent.  It is inscribed on the half title page "Allen Jordan, Laurel and Hardy Museum, Ulverston". Jordan was apparently a curator at the museum.  .
