A hard to find book, this is the result of a Tennesee Valley Authority history project undertaken from 1965 to 1968 regarding the area between the Tennessee River and Cumberland Rivers. The story is of a region that cuts across political lines so as to include portions of three counties and two states and that at the time of the Civil War was an international boundary.
