MUFFIN the MULE - Complete With Controversial Subject, 1949 Because such items are now considered 'untouchable' this complete set, in its original card case, is very rare. Innocent is my preferred description, but then I was brought up at this time myself; the 1940s had very serious issues to contend with - a WORLD WAR for instance had just finished four years earlier. Britain was on rationed food and it was common to see bombed out buildings in most towns and cities. There were few opportunities to get exercised by such things as comic images. Hence, I offer this photographed and described carefully. Please consider what it is you are buying; some regard this as incendiary stuff. The lid on the card case is glued on rather delicately, and this is why my classification is 'Very Good'. The individual cards are most definitely in FINE condition.. Soft cover. Very Good.
