(xxi), 955pp. 2 full-page maps as a double frontisp., many plates, of which plans of temples, text-figs. and ills, diagrammes, full-page coloured maps and plans, index, list of contents, and important notice on Bakshish, list of Egyptological words.This work represents far more information to the tourist than the usual tourist-guide. Originally drawn up in 1886 in accordance to the suggestions of his [Wallis Budge's] friend Mr. J.M. Cook with vast information on ancient monumental Egypt.
