A classic travel guide to the Palace at Fontainebleau, published in 1937; 64 page with index giving a full description of the Palace and its environs. Part of the Collection of France Memoranda. Title and author printed in red on front tan paper cover with publisher's logo on back cover. 6.5" high by 4.75"wide. Volume in excellent condition with interior unmarked and clean, and binding tight enough to make opening for photos difficult. The only issue is a bit of sun fading on back cover, as showm. Rare copy.

This is a very large volume with excellent plates of U.S. dueling pistols. It is marked number 596 of an edition of 2500 copies, 2375 for sale. It is also inscribed by both authors, as shown. The dust jacket is intact and not price clipped or otherwise altered. The volume is in very good condition with only one issue: there is a book plate that has slightly discolored the facing page, as shown. All the interior is in excellent shape, with only slight rippling and wear to the dust jacket corners. I have endeavored to show all the faults, as well as the beauty of the plates.

Beautiful edition of Browning's Pippa Passes, written 1841; this edition was probably published around 1900. It comes in its box, whose graphics reproduce the design of the cover. Hard covers in tan with marbled effect print; title and author impressed print in full-color Art Nouveau design. This is a beautiful, beautiful illustrated volume of John Greenleaf Whittier's poetry from 1885. The cover has elaborate Eastlake style decoration embossed in black on the dark green boards, with a title gilt rectangle with delicate flowers. The spine is also quite decorative with black and gilt embossing. The frontispiece has an engraving of Whittier, as shown in a photo. Page edges are gilt on three sides and very clean, and binding is tight. There is a dedication on inner flyleaf in ink. Condition issues are: three whitish spots on the front cover, worn spine, bumped corners and bottom front edge.Please examine the photos for condition and please contact me for more information.

This is an excellent copy of the 2001 about saltwater fly fishing. It is a first edition, complete with a full dust jacket protected by Mylar. There are no marks or inscriptions on the interior. The exterior is very good with little to no wear. A great gift copy!

Covers have bumped corners and wear to top and bottom of the spine but bright gilding on spine and front cover in decorative design.
