United Press, Melbourne. 4to 820p Red cloth boards, Gilt title and picture of 2 lads playing rugby. Colour and B/W plates and many B/W photos and illustrations. Consists of weekly magazines from 28th Aug. 1926 through to 2nd April 1927, plus 2 novels and the very interesting Pal's Radio Section at the rear. Cover is worn and water damaged as are the colour frontis and title page. The first 24 pages have heavy edge wear and several pages throughout the book are torn but there is no loss of text. Paper is age yellowed. The rear end paper is also missing. Whilst the book is worn and torn it is strongly bound and from a very scarce series which, to the best of my knowledge, is the only volume 7 available anywhere. It is a large, heavy book and extra postage may be required.

It is "....a fascinating narrative of little known, surprising events, a touch of romance and personality probes by reporter Brian Pash." Apart from very small bumps and wear to the head and foot of the spine the book is in fine condition.

Rare, 4to, 96 pages, Pictorial gloss boards. Gloss pages full of colour photos and gripping descriptions of the liberation of East Timor. The book is in near fine condition with a few slight water marks on the contents page be the only issue. Everything else is as brand new. An excellent historical account of Australian and New Zealand forces in action.

8vo 383 pages. Dark blue decorative boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Decorative end papers, black & white frontis photograph with tissue overlay. Colour maps, black & white illustrations and some colour tint plates. Contains comprehensive Sunday School lesson notes for the year 1912. The book is strongly bound and firm. There is wear to the edges, the corners are bumped and there is some staining to the cover. Pages have some toning. A lovely book that's over 110 years old.

Elizabeth Macarthur, Caroline Chisholm, Annette Flinders, convict Molly Morgan and some 'gold diggers' from the gold rushes are just a few of the characters covered. The book has many black & white photos of the people and places involved. The book is in very good condition with light shelf rubbing to the lower edges. It is an ex- Teachers'Union of Western Australia library book with Dewey number on the spine and some library stamps inside.

Small spotting and minor staining to cover, FEP and last page, else clean, bright and strongly bound. A very good book for 1938. No DJ.

Comprehensive instructions on the care and use of tools and machinery plus dozens of woodworking projects from the very simple to complex pieces of furniture. Covers show edge and corner wear, paper is lightly age yellowed. Volume 4 has a 2cm tear to the top of the spine. Previous owner's name 'Fred Pickles' is neatly written in ink on the inside of each cover. Bindings are tight and internally they are clean and unmarked. A very scarce and interesting set showing lots of historical tools, machinery and furniture styles. A heavy set that will require extra postage costs.
