Not so stated, but we believe this is a first edition, first printing by the Excelsior Publishing Company. A handsome volume in excellent condition for its age. Leather and hard-board cover has wear around edges but is otherwise in excellent condition. Gold lettering and scrollwork on spine still sharp. Pages are in excellent condition: we could not find any marks, tears or foxing.

Book is excellent condition. A quote from the book is pasted on the first fly-leaf page. There is extensive writing in pen and pencil on the inside back cover and adjacent fly-leaf page. Binding is good. Cover has minor shelf-wear; however the print on the spine has faded. Good quality, thick, deckled paper pages. We did not find tears or foxing or blemishes. Limited edition of 2,500 copies. Other than a small tear at the top of the spine, this soft cover booklet is in 'as new' condition. It was issued in conjunction with a 1982 exhibition of artwork by Hudson River School artist Worthington Whittredge (1820-1910). With an iessay by Cheryl A. Cibulka. The illustrated catalogue presents 43 pieces.
