The paper covered labor related news, mostly local, with this issue featuring a special report on small shop organizing. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Four inch jagged tear at the upper edge of the front page. Some chipping and tearing along the edges. Moderate toning.

A primarily visual history and survey of railroad stations still in existence as of 1979, focusing on those of the Boston and Maine railroad. This includes photos with short historical commentary on each station. GOOD condition. Minor spotting, staining and soiling to the covers. Light toning. Minor wrinkling and edgewear.

Included are several detailed street maps of Chicago, noting National Guard Armories, as well as buildings, locations, etc. With articles on Mayor Daley, the primary power people behind the convention, anticipated clashes with law enforcement, including a look at law enforcement defenses and strategies, an article on the opinions of the African-American community, etc. GOOD condition. General moderate browning to the paper. Minor chipping and tearing to the fore edge. Newspaper folded backward, with a heavy curl along the center.

This issue devoted to the Democratic National Convention that was held in Chicago of that year. A magazine devoted to aviation, primarily innovations in airplanes, with this issue discussing plans for new, larger passenger planes to meet growing demands; the expansion of various airlines globally; photos and short entries on a variety of airplanes; a look at Lloyd Aereo Boliviano airline of Bolivia; Aeroplanes Henry Poetz of France, etc. GOOD condition. Wrappers faded, soiled and bearing a few minor stains and areas of discoloration. Some wrinkling and creasing. Side staples rusted. Minor soiling in the interior.

Xix, 59 pp. A report on the 1975 Army Affirmative Action Plan implemented by the US Army in an effort to "identify and eliminate institutional discrimination, and create an environment of racial harmony which will enable the Army to field a cohesive, combat ready force." The report is heavy on charts, graphs and statistics, and looks at programs and initiatives undertaken by the US Army to promote equality for both BIPOC members and women members. GOOD condition. Three hole punches along the spine, presumably as issued. Light fading. Some curling along the spine. Small area of tearing to the lower center front cover.

This includes photos of various racing yachts who won championships in 1913, including the Moslem II, the Dartwell, etc. A guide to the rules of yacht racing, including classification and specifications of yachts, crew and racing flags restrictions, schedule of races, boat limitations, American Power Boat Association rules, etc. Many illustrated ads throughout. GOOD condition. Minor soiling, toning and fading to the covers. Minor scuffing to the extremities. Light toning in the interior.

A magazine issued by students at Portland High School in Maine, containing primarily poetry and prose by various students. This includes a story of a Yale-Princeton baseball game and a walk-off home run; news on the high school baseball team, cadet notes, etc. GOOD condition. Some soiling and minor staining to the covers. Wrinkling, creasing and scuffing along the extremities, with a few small chips.

Ann Arbor: Radical Education Project, Publisher. Wraps. Fair. no date, 1967. Single stapled leaflet, 8 1/2 by 11 inches. 7 pages. A philosophical and practical discussion of the formation of the Radical Education Project, discussing goals, principles, actions, etc. With a list of current staff members at the end. The Radical Education Project was started by the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) in 1967 and published a variety of leaflets and papers on various left wing ideas and causes. FAIR condition. Whole piece suffers from water exposure, with faint dampstaining and moderate to heavy wrinkling. Other scattered stains and soiling present. Blank side of the last page rather grubby.

A Montgomery Ward trade catalog devoted to radio, telephone and telegraph equipment for the home. This includes Westinghouse and DeForest equipment, as well as many parts and accessories for home use. The inside front cover provides a one page explanation of the radio and its ease of use in the home, stating it 'is today the wonder of the world.' A map on the first page depicts 'leading radiophone broadcast stations.' GOOD+ condition with moderate browning to the wraps. Minor soiling, heaviest along the extremities. A hint of foxing. Faint dampstain along the lower front cover, with a few small tears. Interior clean and solid. Order form and return envelope laid in.

With a short introduction by James Michener, as well as a few photos depicting paintings and sculpture by the artists. The pieces featured in this catalog reflect a strong Op Art aesthetic. This issue a lengthy article on the steam locomotive Clinchfield #1, and its discovery, restoration and use, including a description of the railroads it travelled and its use to carry Santa Claus. Another article, with many photos of locomotives, discusses the limited cutoff. GOOD+ condition. Minor toning, soiling and wrinkling to the covers.

With many illustrated ads depicting items related to railroads, including tracks, derricks, wheels, etc. A single issue of this journal devoted news related to financial and technological aspects of railroads. This includes rapid tunnel work, locomotive tests on the Boston and Albany, annual reports from the Boston, Barre and Gardner, the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul, the Lehigh Valley and other railroads. With a full page illustration of a combined steam shovel and derrick car. In POOR condition. Both covers DETACHED, with the aforementioned ad leaves LACKING.
