Fully illustrated in glorious sepia by the author, endpapers are simply stunning. Jacket shows expected wear but is in very good shape save for a "clean" spot where a Newbery sticker was once affixed; a fragment of the sticker remains and I did not try to remove it. Jacket is unclipped ($2.00)and has a few minor ships; preserved in mylar, it displays very well. A collectible copy.

An oversized Golden Book with pictoral cover , no jacket, as issued. Stated third printing, 1974, inscription on top of cover page also dated 1974. Binding is tight, no "crackling" like can happen with most Golden Books from this era. Great copy.

Book seems to have produced specifically to promote trick-or-treating for UNICEF. Book is tight and unmarked, jacket has minor edgewear and fading to spine and top front edge. Overall, in wonderful condition, spectacular full color endpapers.

A picture book-sized hardcover, VG with some scuffing to pictorial boards - no jacket, likely as issued. The paper of the front board has a crack/separation of the top 3 inches, but it's visually not distracting, does not affect the binding. Profusely illustrated and photographed stories, craft ideas, projects. A child did take a quiz in pen midway through the book, otherwise clean and unmarked.
