Scarce: only in KB and a few other libraries.l The Epistle to the Ephesians, also called the Letter to the Ephesians and often shortened to Ephesians, is the tenth book of the New Testament. Its authorship has traditionally been attributed to Paul the Apostle, as in this title.

Engraving on hand laid paper, sheet size 298 x 466 mm., attached to carrier 397 x 563 mm., engraved by Frederik Bloemaert (1614-1690) after Abraham Bloemaert (1566-1651). Anthony holding the infant Jesus in his arms, along with a book and a lily, the text of a prayer in French. Titled below: 'SAIN ANTOINE DE PADOUE' Address on the bottom: 'Boumard et fils éditeurs - Ch. Letaille - PL 732'. On the verso a recollection on the devotion of St. Anthony of Padua 'Holy cards/immaginette are small, mass-produced, wallet-sized cards that have been, and still are, a significant marker of "growing up Catholic." In many respects they represent, and have been used as, the people's Lives of the Saints, the child's first lesson in orthodoxy and everyday manners, art for the masses, a modern version of the Bible of the illiterate. Despite the adjective "holy" and although they are often treated by the devout as placeholders for the sacred, holy cards are not really sacred objects. S.’s pogingen een tijdschrift uitgegeven te krijgen. “De professoren in Utr. en Leiden vonden het machtig mooi, beaamden zeer het nut ervan, vooral Prof. Fruin hier, mijn oude leermeester, wiens college ik gisteren nog weer eens bezocht... doch ‘t stuit af op een uitgever, daar men zich van een streng wetenschappelijk vakblad in ons kleine land geen eussite, geen genoegzaam aantal intekenaars kan voorstellen en belooven”.
