Rare, signed and numbered limited edition of only 100 (?) copies, first printing, signed by Hebbar. A 7-page essay by Mulk Raj Anand printed on yellow paper, followed by 26 full-page drawings by Hebbar printed on one side of each page; yellow hardboard cover, stitched binding. Well preserved, with a minor chip on the front cover (please refer to the image), inside fresh and clean. Rare Ă©dition limitĂ©e, signĂ©e et numĂ©rotĂ©e de seulement 100 (?) exemplaires, premier tirage, signĂ©e par Hebbar. Original brochure with original silver wrappers designed by Gustav Klutsis, signed on the rear. Photographs by Aleksey Temerin. The volume was printed for promotion purposes during a tour of the theater company founded by Wsevolod Meyerhold. It includes biographies, an overview of performances so far, a methodological introduction ("Biomechanik", bio-mechanics) and photographs plus descriptions of five productions which were performed during the tour to Germany in 1930. Please see the images to get a better sense of the (poor) shape. The cover needs restoration, as well as the binding. Foxing throughout the book, heavy on page three, lighter on the remaining pages. Stamp on front cover and frontispiece. Nevertheless, worthwhile collecting.
