"In this Figure, which represents the fourth order of the muscles, we have not only removed molt of the outer parts of the Figure last preceding, but we have also taken away every thing from the bony cavities of the eyes, except the muscles; from the neck we have removed the whole pharynx and gula, together with the larynx and windpipe; from the opened thorax all the parts that are above the diaphragm, the heart, lungs, pericardium, and two pleura : also the whole peritoneum, with the abdominal viscera which it contains, and whatever else lies near the loins on this side, except the muscles."
