New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1902. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Very hard to find First Edition of this work in half red Morroco over marbled boards. Usually found in green decorated cloth boards. Gilt stamped titles and spine decoration. Top of pages gilt. Inside pastedowns and flyleaves also marbled. Six full page illustrations protected by tissue guards. Not paginated. Previous owners' signature and stamp on the first plain flyleaf, otherwise clean and unmarked internals. Except for slight shelfwear and scuffing of cover edges, in fine condition. Binding is square and tight.
