The books are bound in light green cloth with black, red and gold embossing. Some minor white spotting appears on most volumes and is quite prominent on volumes 11 and 12. There are a few dogeared pages and in volume one I found pencil marking beside some items in a table of contents. The spines are somewhat faded and darkened and volume 8 shows some black scuff marks. The eleven volumes will take up about 16 inches of shelf space. They are 8 inches tall and 5.5 inches deep

Unknown Binding. Fair. The covers of this well-worn softcover are quite torn, discolored, and, at the bottom of the back cover, insect eaten. Nonetheless, the music appears unmarked and the signatures are intact. It is not a pretty book, but it is still good more many more hours of use.

The text is unmarked and the library binding is sound. Among the evidences of its former library life are: stamps on the title page, residue of a removed card pocket, a due date slip, and a sticker on the spine. The cover is shelf worn. A couple of page have been damaged by something being jammed down into the book, the none of the text is affected.
