Philadelphia, PA: University of Pennsylvania Libraries, 2012. First Edition. Wrappers. Near Fine. First Edition. xii, 98, [1] pages. 4to. Printed white wrappers with titles and embossed flea on front cover. Minor wear/creasing at the corner tips and a few scuff marks. Wrappers. A wonderful collection built by Schwartz over many years that includes books, ephemera, and instruments, focused on microscopy. The collection was on exhibit at the Kamin Gallery, Van Pelt-Dietrich Library at University of Pennsylvannia from March 14-August 17, 2012. Carl Zeiss Meditech was also a sponsor in addition to the Harry Wallace Kamin and Dorthy McNally Kamin Fund and the Penn Libraries. A great gift or reference for any microscope enthusiast. This is the way we feel microscopy (and other scientific fields) should be collected - with an understanding and enthusiasm for all forms (books, paper, instrumentation). Each informs the other, and leads to a greater fascination with the field for all.
