In Serbo-Croat. Three books on the 10th, 12th and 13th Yugoslavian Chess Championship, published in Belgrade and Sarajevo in 1955, 1957 and 1958 respectively. Each has been rebound in Hb, retaining the original covers within, and range from 48pp-58pp. Good+, light tanning to page edges in a couple of volumes, contents clean. They include results tables and between 150-250 games without notes. Winners included Karaklajic, Gligoric and Ivkov.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

1975. In Polish. Pb, 80pp. Good, covers tanned at edges, contents clean. Introduction, occasional round-by-round commentary and 80 games without notes of the 11th PKWN chess tournament held in Lublin in July-August 1975. Koslov was the winner ahead of Barczay.. Soft Cover.

Moscow, 1956. In Russian. Hb, modern blue binding with title on spine, A4 sized, approx. 200pp, b/w photos. Good, pages tanned but clean. There are punch-holes on the pages by the spine. Bound volume containing the complete set of 25 bulletins for the 1956 Moscow Chess Olympiad. In addition to the results and games , the bulletins also contain reports and many photographs (although the reproduction quality isn't great). The Soviet Union, led by Botvinnik, were the winners, ahead of Yugoslavia and Hungary.. Hard Cover. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

In Polish. Two little booklets/bulletins covering the 13th and 14th Rubinstein Memorial chess tournaments. Each is Pb, approx. 65-70pp. Good, slight cover wear, clean contents. They contain respectively 120 and 105 games without notes, player photos with facsimile signatures, and results tables. The 1975 tournament was won by Averbakh and Plachetka ahead of Doda, Uhlmann and Knaak in a field of 16. Timoshenko won the 1976 tournament ahead of Averbakh, Kuezevic and Schmidt in a field of 15.. Soft Cover. Good.

Sofia: Shakhmatna Misl In Bulgarian. Two booklets in the same series. Each is Pb, staple-bound, 40pp, portrait frontis. Fair+ with light cover wear and light tanning to pages. One volume has an inked tick on one page while the other volume has inked notation on the inside front cover, an inked tick on a page and tear to base of spine. The 1959 coverage includes brief player bios., openings survey, 105 games without notes, 8 problems from an earlier chess competition. V. Popov was the winner ahead of M. Bobotsov and L. Popov. The 1960 coverage includes brief player bios. and 190 games without notes. Z. Milev was the winner, ahead of Bobotsov and O. Neikirch.. Soft Cover.

Tear to top of spine, covers and spine sunned/darkened, slack inner front hinge, corner dent. Contents good and clean. English. Includes the 1453 games without notes, list of contestants, results. USSR were the winners (with Botvinnik, Petrosian, Spassky, Keres, Geller, Tal), ahead of Yugoslavia, Argentina and USA ( with Fischer, Benko, Evans, the two Byrnes, Mednis).. Soft Cover. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Belgrade/Zagreb/Zenica In Serbo-Croat. Four booklets covering the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th Yugoslavian Chess Championships, published in 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964. Each is Pb, ranging from 48pp to 112pp. Good with light cover wear, a couple have scuffs from old stickers on the front cover, clean contents. They include results and between 154-231 games without notes. The volume on the 19th championship also has an introduction and a couple of volumes have photos. Winners included Trifunovic, Matanovic, Panov, Udovcic, and Ivkov. . Soft Cover. Good.

Berlin: Sportverlag Berlin, 1967. In German. Hb, beige cloth covers, no dj, 328pp, b/w photos. Good+, spine slightly sunned, unidentifiable signature (previous owner?) on inside front cover, text clean. Includes : 62 games with annotations by various GMs such as Boleslavsky, Tal and Larsen); openings survey by Leonid Stein and Peter Clarke; a summary of the 13th round by Tal; a section on interesting positions and novelties by Kurt Richter; extensive results tables; results from previous chess olympiads; many interesting photographs. USSR (headed by Petrosian) won gold, ahead of USA ( with Fischer and Byrne) and Hungary ( with Portisch and Szabo).. Hard Cover. Good.

Moscow: Fizkultura I Sport, 1954. In Russian. Hb, cream boards, cloth spine, no dj, 272pp. Good, light corner dents, inked notation on title page, light page tanning. Coverage of the 20th Soviet Chess Championship, held in Moscow in 1952 . Contains 196 games with annotations by many of the players. Botvinnik and Taimanov were joint first (but Botvinnik then won the play-off match in early 1953) ahead of Geller, Boleslavsky, Tolush and Korchnoi in a field of twenty.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
