A stunning commercial photograph album, self-published by Clyde Waddell, former chief photographer for the Houston Press and U.S. Army Public Relations officer with the Southeast Asian command during WWII. Waddell extensively photographed Calcutta while on duty as principal cameraman for the Phoenix Magazine, a photographic weekly sponsored by the combined U.S.-British command.
