The Architectural League of the Pacific coast was organized in Portland, OR in 1909, which organized annual architectural exhibitions and organized scholarship work, and published the book. This yearbook contains lists of the club's members, patrons, exhibitors, photographs, illustrations, and sketches of their work, as well as many pages of advertisements. 4to, unpaginated. Brown boards with printed titles to cover, no titles to spine. Text contains many illustrations and photographs in black and white, only frontispiece is in color. Condition: A top layer of paper covering boards has torn from two ½" chips to cover, and a ½" x 2" tear to rear cover, but boards remain tight and strong underneath, some rubbing to edges and spine of boards. Text and illustrations throughout are near fine, frontispiece is vibrant, onionskin verso to it is intact and without wear. A very nice copy of this yearbook.

Presumed first edition, no further printings noted. Slightest wear to illustrated boards, with early price sticker on front cover. An early enthusiastic reader has made a neat pencil note to three recipes, with corresponding additions to the table of contents. The same hand adds notes and one additional recipe to the rear endpaper. Pages are otherwise clean and bright. 8.75 x 5.75

The limitation page declares: "This book is put forth in the Moon of the Falling Leaf, Nineteen Hundred & Thirty-Secen. From the Parnassian Press of Maurice Taylor. With Fronticepiece & Embellishments by Marceil Taylor, in an edition of five hundred copies" one hundred of which are bound in cloth, numbered, and signed." While this copy is apparently one of the hundred bound in cloth, it is neither numbered nor signed. Cloth-covered boards, with large paper label. A production of Maurice and Marceil Taylor shortly before they moved (with their printing equipment) to New Mexico to set up the Seton Village Press. Roughly constructed at joints.
