Description:
New York City: Bauer Type Foundry, Inc, 1941. Year At A Glance 1942 Letterpress Calendar from the Bauer Type Foundry, Inc. Printed on light stock with yellow, black and red inks. 9 5/8 x 12 3/4 inches. Very light soiling; two corners lightly bumped. Verso is blank. Fine condition. A very aesthetic and striking broadside from the Bauer Type Foundry of New York City. Likely used as a lagniappe (small gift) from the firm. I'll be OK if it does not sell--I like it that much.

Description:
[Yellowstone]. Haynes, Isabel. Personal Stationery and Related Materials A collection of printed stationery, envelopes, letterhead, calling cards and mailing labels, all unused, along with Isabel Haynes' funeral program from 1993. The stationery and cards are printed with Haynes' private residential address in Bozeman. Nearly all are in fine condition: One card has a dog-eared corner. 70 total pieces, 14 unique designs. Isabel Haynes took a summer job in Yellowstone in 1922 at the age of 23, and essentially never left. She managed the Roosevelt Lodge for three years, married Jack Ellis Haynes in 1930, and became an integral part of the Haynes family operations. She survived Jack by three decades, donating a large portion of the family archives to the Montana State University. The materials in this lot were sold as part of an estate auction after her death in 1993.
