Laid in loose is a Typed Letter Signed by Victor Papanek on California Institute of the Arts letterhead, July 10, 1972, declining an invitation to speak at an architecture school in Georgia (as he was teaching at the Royal Danish Academy of Art). Papanek (1923-1998), design philosopher influential in the development of enviromentally sensitive design. He was Dean of Cal Arts. This is his most important work. First American edition in jacket Introduction by R. Buckminster Fuller. Jacket has some tears and wear to edges; ink name on front pastedown.
