Salt Lake City, Utah: Pemberly Kent Publishers, Inc., 1990. Hardcover. New/New. Pem Farnsworth was the first person to witness electronic television, an invention of her husband, Philo T. Farnswoth. Unfortunately, she passed away on April 27, 2006 at age 98, and was buried in Provo, Utah cemetery next to her husband. After Phil's death in the early 1970's she devoted a good portion of her life attempting to get her husband the recognition he deserved. Philo Taylor Farnsworth is one of the two Utah representatives in Statuary Hall in Washington, DC. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. Signed on the ffep as follows: "Best Always/Elma 'Pem' Farnsworth/; not personalized to anyone. A very nice copy. Purchased directly from the author during her lifetime by this bookseller.
