Condition: Fine, binding sound, text clean, no iscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Very good, with very light shelfwear and sine light scratches to rear cover of jacket. Not price-clipped. 208pp. Many b/w illustrations. This book was the first critical appraisal of Gill's inscriptional designs, with special attention to the early development of his letter forms. The book includes indexes of persons and institutions commemorated, and the locations of the inscriptions. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
