About This Item

London: Cape Goliard, 1970. Softcover. Very Good. First edition, wrappered issue. Octavo. 141pp. Spine lightly faded and with a crease, wrappers with a bit of wear and fading, very good with the interior bright. Inscribed on the half-title "For Tom Miller, Greetings! G. Appolinaire Iowa City XI/70," possibly in the hand of the poet. Included is a 1976 typed letter Signed, from Hollo to Tom (presumably Miller), Iowa printer and friend of Hollo's. Letter has minor toning, a bit of separation at the folds, and a bit of staining, very good. The chatty letter includes information about a possible collaboration, with Tom possibly printing Hollo's book *Sojourner Microcosms: New & Selected Poems, 1969-1974*. That book (covering the years 1959-1977) would be printed by the Blue Wind Press in 1977.
