About This Item

New York: Harmony, 1996. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 244pp. Beautiful First Printing. Square, tight and clean throughout with a touch of bumping at spine ends but very minor. Equally attractive unclipped dust jacket, ($25.00), has some fairly mild wear to spine ends. A bit of typical discoloration to the gold of the titling on front panel. Still, fresh and bright with no creases, tears or chipping. A very pretty collectable copy.

Gould is the Alexander Agassiz Professor of Zoology and Professor of Geology at Harvard and the Curator for Invertebrate Paleontology in the University's Museum of Comparative Zoology. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City. From the Hardcover edition.
