About This Item
Sarasota, Florida: Pineapple Press, Inc., 1986. Volume 1 . Hardcover. Very Good+/Good. Number line in the work reads as follows: 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2, above this line it states first edition. My interpretation of this is that this is the second printing of the first edition. Volume itself has green and brown covers with sharp silver lettering on the spine. 268 pages, 63 chapters, including an index and a bibliography. On the ffep there is a prior owner name(G. Ferguson) in red pen and the date and place, Florida, 1989. The dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. At the head of the spine there are tears and chips and they extend along the top of the back cover for aways and to a much lesser extent the top of the front cover. In addition a bit of corner wear on the dj. The dj is not price-clipped. This is a work of achievers and pioneers, villains and characters, heroes and heroines, war and peace, and lastly calamities and social turbulence. A highly serviceable and presentable copy, available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
