Ex-library. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. 80 plates of pen and pencil drawings and watercolors. According to the information on the front flap of the dust jacket, "In addition to his oil paintings and wtercolours he made over 140 wood engravings and illustrated about 50 books. His botanical drawings were among the finest of this century and he produced many comic drawings of humour and vitality." This is a former library book that appears to have not been read. Dust jacket is in protective sleeve, which is adhered to the inside covers, library stamp on top edge of text block, and library pocket on the rear flyleaf page. Faint area of shelf wear onthe bottom edge of binding. 115 pages, 0859679586. spine - brown with gray title and black author name..

We opened our shop in August 1992 in an out-of-the-way, two-block street, hence the name. Shortly afterward we started getting books that were hard to find, so the name fits there, too. We recently closed the shop and are focusing on our online book business, continuing to provide the same customer care. Our specialties include Engineering and Technical, Christian and other religions, Foreign Language, Military History, and music. We also have classics, biographies, history, politics, and science, sports, law, etc. Please call for any information needed. We are in the Central time zone.
