Gutekunst's 1890 phototype "Jefferson Davis and the Confederate Generals." Xviii pp prelim material, 217 numbered pp, plus 16 pp glossy b&w illus/photos, plus five blank end. Eight chapters from different contributors on aspects of Davis and the CSA war effort; notes, bibliography, index. Condition notes: Clean and unmarked but for pencilled price on front free endpaper; spine ends rolled, corners bumped, spine cocked slightly off square, limited soiling to fore- and tail-edges; dj free of tears or chips. A nice compact reading copy. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).

Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
