Large paperback. ix,97pp. Profusely illustrated with photographs and line-drawings. This book has been written to help the team whp are undertaking the context in which the original Tapestry was made. Their aim was to produce five metres of embroidery that could sit alongside the Tapestry in Bayeux. The preface covers some of the events taking place in Yorkshire during the momentous months of the autumn 1066. With Bibliography.
