Lightly bumped spine heel. Sun fading to top front board. Blue sprayed top text block edge, other edges tanning. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. No dust jacket. 8vo. Charts the problem Britain was faced with of converting the activities of the aviation pioneers into a major industry producing tens of thousands of aircraft to meet the urgent requirements of the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service and, subsequently, the newly-formed Royal Air Force. A large and heavy volume which will require an additional charge for overseas delivery.
