Girard & A Boitte Editeurs Paris" printed in gilt at the base of the spine. Fourteen volumes identically bound in red cloth with 5 raised bands alongs spines with gilt titles and decorations. Linear decorations to front and rear boards. Hinges all tight, marbled end papers. Pages smooth and clean, lightly ageg-toned, abundantly illustrated throughout with gravures (with a table of gravures at the rear of each volume). A beautiful, very well preserved set. May incur additional postage charges, especially overseas.
