About This Item
Founded in 1840, when Texas was a Republic, the history of Southwestern University gives a unique perspective on the history of Texas. Southwestern really was founded in 1873, it derived from 4 'root' schools that were run by the Methodist Conference in Texas. The history of those schools is described (there is some juicy stuff in those histories). The book is in fine, like new condition. Big, heavy book will require additional postage for international shipping.

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
