Surry Hills, NSW: Reader's Digest Sydney, 1988. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Large heavy book, about 13" x 9 1/4", likely to require additional shipping charges. Contact us for a quote. Hardcover in light blue cloth boards, backed in a smooth, leather-like dark blue, with gilt titling and accents. Well illustrated with 745 colour photos of the many species and 654 small b&w distribution maps. Book is Very Good plus: square and firmly bound, with only mild wear but a little rubbed at the heel. The previous owner has affixed two ownership labels to the title page and has added a bright red ink stamp (with a bit of a ghost on the facing page). The dust jacket is Very Good, mildly worn at the extremities, rubbed at the heel, and slightly damaged (pushed in and split) along the front hinge. Overall this remains a sturdy and attractive volume which will serve for years to come.
