George Pratt Shultz (1920 2021) was an American economist, businessman, diplomat, and statesman. He served as Secretary of State under Ronald Reagan, and in various positions under two different Republican presidents. He is one of the only two persons to have held four different Cabinet-level posts (Secretary of Labor, Director of the Office of Management and Budget, Secretary of the Treasury, and Secretary of State), the other being Elliot Richardson. Shultz played a major role in shaping the foreign policy of the Ronald Reagan administration and in ending the Cold War. . Both the volume and the unclipped dust jacket are in perfect, pristine condition; unread, unmarked, tight, square, and clean.
