Created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Minor White's birth, this Limited Eedition book (#1,253 of 1,500) includes 55 important photos that reflect the output of his long career. This book was created in conjunction with an exhibition of his work. The Preface is by Peter Bunnell, and there is an essay by Nathan Lyons. White was a founder of Aperture magazine, photographed for the WPA and was affiliated with several important academic institutions during his career, and his works are in important collections around the world. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names, and no bookplates. It is bound in the riginal red cloth publisher's covers with spine and cover lettering and with a b&w photo pastedown on the front cover. It was not issued with a dust jacket. ; B&W Photographs; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 80 pages .
