FINE/NFINE.No owner inscrptn,and no price-clip to dw/dj.Colour photographic upper wrap,b/w photographic rear wrap with blue titles.Minimal shelf-wear and negligible creasing. Top edge very lightly blemished,fore-edge bright and both overall generally clean; contents pristine.Light bumping with light reciprocal creasing to both head+foot of spine/ backstrip which is also very slightly faded.Publisher's clean plain blue cloth boards with bright,blocked gilt letters to spine/backstrip and immaculate plain white endpapers.

Everton Football Club have always been one of the great names in football.Founder members of the Football League exactly 100 years ago (then 1987),they have lifted every major honour in the domestic game.The last few years,in particular, have brought new triumphs,with League Championship and FA Cup successes as well as the European Cup-winners Cup.From being in the shadow of their neighbours from across Stanley Park,Everton have had their fair share of glory in the 1980's.This book charts all these and many other great occasions in the club's history.The first edition of 'Everton: A Complete Record' was highly acclaimed when it was published' in 1985.Since then,further achievements meant that a new edition was needed.Thus,'Everton: A Complete Record 1878-1988' updates and enlarges the previous book.
