Crown, 1980. Later printing. Hardcover. Fine/very good. Hardcover. 463 pp. with index. Illustarted with photos. Fine in very good dust jacket with a couple minor flaws. Jimmy Fratianno was a "made guy" in La Cosa Nostra, a soldier, capo, and ex-boss of the Los Anfeles family, involved at the highest levels with bookmaking, gambling, union racketeering, extortion, prostitution, pornography an dvirtually every criminal activity to which organized crime is linked. He also earned a reputation as the Mafia's top killer in California. Then in 1977, after being arrested, he filpped and became an FBI informant, the highest -ranking Mafioso ever to "turn". at the time of this writing, Fratianno has been testifying for some two years. The book details eleven murders Fratianno was personally involved in and two dozen more about which he had inside knowledge including those of Bugsy Siegel, Albert Anastasia, Jimmy Hoffa, Sam Giancana, Johnny Roselli, and others.
