About This Item
Denmark 1993. P.S.Krøyer was born in Norway in 1860 and died in Skagen in 1909. In this book, seven Danish art historians inject new light on selected areas of his oeuvre and highlight aspects of his artistic production, which both point backward in the history of art and open perspectives towards 20th-Century art. He is remembered as the most prominent Skagen painter. These paintings are loved throughout the world, the light portraying the image of the north in its sublety. This volume is absolutely beautiful with many paintings illustrated, which you have never seen before., Danish, Year1993, Illust. B/W63, Illust. Color97, ISBN 8788575314 , Code 0458.
