Illustrator: Various. 1.8 kg; (8), 232 pages, with bibliography, indexed, and a chronology for each of the 7 artists, Thomas John Thomson, James Edward MacDonald, Lawren Stewart Harris, Alexander Young Jackson, Arthur Lismer, Frederick Horsman Varley, & Franklin Carmichael. in original blind stamped cloth binding, with colour illustrated dust jacket, neatly price clipped at the top of the front fold over, with a quarter inch split at the same point. The book comes with a slipcase which has a 0.75 inch split at the top left of the opening. There is no other damage to describe. The group of Seven were the 1st to paint the North country and there are awakened and inspired an awareness of the rugged beauty of Canada.
