Illustrated end papers, showing Richard Bolitho and his ship (drawn by Biro). Blue coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Softening of the head end of the heel of the backstrip and rubbing and some browning of the book edges. Light browning to the textblock edges and light age toning of the internal pages. Colour illustrated dustwrapper (wraparound), by Chris Mayger, with black colour title to the front panel and backstrip. Black-and-white photograph of author to the rear dustwrapper panel. Creasing to the dustwrapper edges and there is a crease that runs the full length of the rear dustwrapper panel and a crease that runs three quarters the length of the front dustwrapper panel.
